Are you ready for some rock&roll songs that bring up back to the seventies and eighties? Are you game for all the moves that drive you back to your mum's and dad's era? Well, it all happen on this very special night.
SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER cum Award Ceremony.
I arrived at my dance school exactly at 7pm, only to see truckloads of people outside the dance studio, indulging themselves into the buffet of food. Only to see absence of all my dancemates and i'm only the early birdie in my dance class. Probably a good thing to be punctual, yet it can be a bad thing when your friends are not there at that moment. :( About 10mins or so, i finally saw two of my mates and slowly, almost all of them were there, yuppess:)
Alright, after we had tucked into the food, we headed to the bigger dance room. We sat down there and took pics to kill time, then, the lights were dimmed and then " LET"S START THE PARTY!". Light Projector giving out different hues and colours of light, filling up the room with thousands of luminous colours. And here comes the best part, Mr Mario leading all of the party-goers dancing in the coolest atmosphere.
I have to admit that Mr Mario(from Italy) was the perfect candidate to push the excitement and amusement level to the highest. He totally rock the dancefloor.My dancemates and i couldn't resist the temptation and stepped into the dance floor:)
ANd yeah, we tried to follow all the dance moves, and we finally got the hang of it.:O
Afterwards, tired, we went outside to inhale some fresh air, and took a picture with Mr Mario. After regaining our energy, we returned to the dancefloor, but to our dismay, everyone had stopped dancing, only to listen attentively to the speech by Shawn and Gladys> award ceremony had begun<.
I could feel my heart in my throat, i was very anxious then, wondering if i could pass with flying colours.
All of the participants, including me, had done a great job by achieving either commended or highly commended for the DANCESPORT Proficiency Test.
My name was then being announced and here goes...Highly commended for one dance medal-samba & one dance medal-cha cha cha.
It totally rock.
Well, seriously, i'm not bragging about it, but to share the enjoyment with all of m.y.c.h.r.o.n.i.c.l.e.s. blog readers:)
Results:

Total marks: 75/100(highly commended)
One Dance Medal-cha cha cha
Total marks: 78/100(highly commended
Grading System:
Fail: 0-49
Pass: 50-59
Commended: 60-74
Highly commended: 75-89
Honours: 90-100(achieved by only one couple who danced waltz for their test:)
Yeah, i'm happy for myself, and i shall continue to strive, dance the way that i like it:)
After the award ceremony, i waited for the performance specially put up for all the party-goers, as all of my dancemates had left...
Accompanied by the song "LOW" Mr Mario and other three guys danced their routine with a mixture of hiphop and latin, and dressed up in their black suits, they totally rock the hall, with all of the party-goers cheering loudly for them!
To end this post, i shall say.....
