DHSPECTRUM MANIA
I arrived in school at about 3.30pm in the afternoon, and i was pretty late to learn the dance moves, yet early cos everyone has to be present at 4pm. Contradicting right?? Hahas. So, i walked with the girls to our respective classes, only to see that they were preparing for tonight's concert already. I approached Vanessa and Brenda and asked them to teach me the dance moves, cos i trust them...:)(they learn dance too)
Hmmm... i think that i had mind blockage cos i just couldn't memorise the dance moves.But a few practices helped me to get the hang of it, little by little. one of our female scs' came, and go around to check if everything was alright, obviously, it was. Maybe not that well-done, but overall, it was almost done.
Everyone gathered in the canteen at around 5pm for our dinner, which was the start of DH SPECTRUM MANIA , hahas, love this phrase. WE did many cheers followed by the makan cheer before settling our hands on the spoons and forks. While we were having our dinner, songs were being played. These songs were chosen from many which were being ordered us, the year1s. Fortunately, the song that i had chosen was being played, dedicated to all the sc's and year1s- ultra violet!! We had fruits afterwards, then...ice-cream!! This dinner was amazingly scrumptious, wasn't it??
We headed to the hall, only to see balloons, darkness and chillness. It was so damn cool and fun, it totally rocks.
Every class had to perform on stage, either to do a skit, dance or cheers. Frankly, it was rather boring when it came to the skit part, but not for the dance and cheers. I almost fell asleep...In between, we did the chicken dance and jiku dance, it was extremely funny, cos i have two crazy people beside and behind me( Enqi and Stephen)
After what seemed like ages, it was our turn, so we went up to get ready. First, it was our snow-white skit, which was abit dull without the kissing part to end off...:) Next up, dance. Okay, i had to say that i flunked at that, or rather almost everyone, cos we just couldn't remember the steps.
To leave a good impression, we tried to dance as smoothly as possible but it didn't seem possible... Afterwards, we did our cheers with Gordon to lead us.

After all the performances, it was time to get high.
Really, extremely high and enthusiastic!!!
We sang our level song "我们之间” as loud as possible, and indeed the three of us did sang on top of our voices, we then sway our light sticks and sway our bodies left and right. We're totally damn high, you'll never imagine how high i was, i couldn't imagine myself behaving that way too.
Then, it was time for our school facilitators to perform on stage. They used their light sticks to form the word " DH SPECTRUM MANIA ''09" in the midst of the darkness. It was so cool that we kept cheering and cheering.
Next up, we have one of our school bands to perform. Live band on stage! THey sang two songs, which i don know, but i could tell that their voices....hmmm... just couldn't make it for the songs. However, we still continue to cheer and shout.
Then, it was followed by the price-ceremony. where my class 1J won the fourth price, THE CRAZIEST CLASS award. Hahas!! we are indeed the craziest class make up of crazy students. Last but not least, everyone managed to get their class photo which was taken at east coast park.
When we were all having fun, it had come to an end of the five-day-orientation.
In the end, i managed to give out the notebook(100% handmade by vivianne in two hours time) to my class scs', and took pictures with them.
