Well, i haven't been posting for almost one or two weeks, due to the tight school schdule every single day. I felt as if like i haven't been sleeping for ages already, cos there's always never-ending homework for me to complete. However, being a busy woman like me, it means that you'll not find yourself without an inkling to do something. I have met all my subjects' teachers by today, and was glad that most of my teachers belong to the humorous species.
Yesterday was the Sports selection trial. I tried Wushu, Volleyball and softball, and i got into two of them- wushu and softball. Frankly, i hadn;t much interest for wushu, but on the flipside, pretty much for softball. However, i know that my mum will not agree to this. Volleyball was the hardest of all. It's pretty hard to describe the toughness of it, but all i could say was that "tallies" and "grasshoppers" stand a better chance.
Today's the CCA selection trial(first choice). Luckily, my mum requested me to bring along my latin shoes (just in case) cos i just swopped my first choice from chinese dance to eds dance. During lesson time, i'm already in the mood to dance, praying hard for the lesson to end as soon as possible. But i'm not a bad student afterall.
I had my fast-food and headed straight for the eds dance audition with Yuping. I met a year1 dunmanian, sue's classmate, her name is Joelle. Like me, she learns latin dance too, in a dance school which i likely know. I waited for like 20mins before they announced my name, then we went into the dance room with the instructor and dancers inside. The instructor taught us a routine, and we rehearsed it in front of him. Then, he asked if anyone here has any dance experiences, so i told him, obviously... " Chinese Dance six years, and latin " i regretted slightly for adding the "six years" behind, it was as if like i was bragging about it.
I then changed into my latin shoes and begin the routine. I couldn't dance to the correct beat at first, but soon got hold of it. Next, it was Joelle's turn. She danced so gracefully! That was what i commented. I really hope that i can get in, as spaces are limited- 87 students fighting over 15 places for both eds dance and drama.
After that, i went for the softball second round audition. It was so fun, though i didn't managed to get into the next round, but i met quite a few of the seniors. In the end, i played softball with them leisurely while others were trying for the next round.
